Although I didn't know Tim very well we often met down the field when walking the dogs. I remember him as a modest, unassuming man who had a genuine kindness towards his fellow people. He was particularly kind to a sad young man in the village whom others often shunned or else confronted. I found out that Tim had helped him enormously in a practical way without any show of self-congratulation. A genuinely lovely man and my thoughts are with Caroline, Katy and Alice.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
